I went here over the weekend because I had two sickly looking plants and I needed advice. Although the time on Google and their sign out front was incorrect in stating their closing time and they were in fact closed. Tiffany still assisted me. I'm not sure if she is a manager or not, but she should be. She is an angel. She examined both plants, looked up what the fungus may be, told me what the issues were with both of my plants, and told me how to correct the issues. I am treating one plant and have repottted the second one. Splitting it into two plants. Thank you Tiffany! You are amazing! Update: Both plants died and started to show signs of dying after I posted the review. However, that doesn't take away from Tiffany's customer service.

Recently we had a big snow storm and I called to have them shovel my walk and driveway. The same day of my request they showed up in a few hours and had everything cleaned up. The service was awesome. Additionally they have some of the best plants and landscaping materials for Spring Clean up.

Greg and his team are the ultimate in customer service. In general they are helpful finding whatever flower or fruit plant I’m looking for. But today, in the freezing cold, Greg personally helped me load up some firewood so we could be warm and comfortable tonight. Greg, your kindness and willing to go above and beyond the “job description” are why my family and I are PGC customers always! 🤘🤘

Potomac Garden Center on Darnestown Road is an absolute gem for plant enthusiasts. The welcoming atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, and top-quality plants make it a must-visit. They offer a diverse range of plants and gardening supplies, catering to all skill levels. The staff's expertise and willingness to assist are commendable, and the healthy plants I purchased truly thrived in my garden. I was able to buy some 🌶️ trees, shovels, finest soils for my plant and many pots ! It's a one-stop-shop that I highly recommend for anyone looking to enhance their gardening experience. 🌼🌱👨🏾‍🌾

PGC is our neighborhood nursery. While they don't have everything we need, we find most of what we need here. And they offer a great guarantee policy if your plants are sick or a dud. Things I love about PGC... 1. The staff that works on the floor are super helpful and knowledgeable. We've probably asked numerous questions that could have been easily googled, and they still humor us every time by going above and beyond. 2. There are two resident cats that hang around and sleep on random bags of soil. It's like a where's waldo game and I love it. 3. They had very good COVID protocols set up during the pandemic and in the beginning of reopening. I really appreciated this. 4. There was a period during the pandemic that I was badly injured and had to be in a wheelchair for a bit. Not only is PGC wheelchair accessible, the employees were extremely helpful with being able to bring items to the car for me and to accommodate me as much as I needed. Most prices are reasonable. Some of the pots are overpriced but they tend to have some pretty good sales. Parking is pretty easy even when it's busy. They have a side lot as well as another one in the back.
